By comparison, that was almost twice as much as Carrefour and over three times as much as ALDI.

Colruyt, which next to the supermarkets of the same name also operates the Okay, BioPlanet and Spar supermarkets, had market share of nearly 27 percent in Belgium. Carrefour had a market share of nearly 19 percent this year, whereas ALDI’s market share was 11 percent.
